Adding the accountants' report

The accountants' report goes on the members' copy of the accounts only. Its heading follows your professional body.

Adding it

  1. Open the details

    On the set of accounts open "Details for the accounts" and find "Accountants' report".

  2. Include it

    Tick "Include the accountants' report on the preparation of the accounts".

  3. Enter your details

    Choose the professional body (AAT, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA or another), and enter the firm, the date of the report, the office it is signed from and the engagement letter date.

  4. Save

    Press "Save the details".

Wording

ICAEW and ICAS members get the heading Chartered accountants' report, ACCA members Chartered certified accountants' report, and others Accountants' report. Check the wording against your professional body's current guidance before you sign. Sole trader and partnership reports use fixed wording.
