BTCSoftware retirement dates and where to move

It says individual and partnership returns can be done in BTCSoftware up to and including the 2025/26 tax year, accounts production and corporation tax for periods ending 31 March 2027, and trust returns remain in the desktop product for at least the 2026/27 tax year.

Choosing where to go

Bright offers existing customers a move to BrightTax, included with their licence. Accounts for periods ending after 31 March 2027 will need to be prepared in another package, whichever one you choose.

Moving to Accountin

Export each client's trial balance from BTCSoftware's accounts production, and we set the client up with opening balances and last year's figures as comparatives. Accountin produces FRS 105 and FRS 102 Section 1A accounts and the corporation tax return, and files them once its filing approvals are in place.
