Starting next year's accounts

Starting next year carries a set of accounts forward: this year's figures become the comparatives and the details carry over, apart from events after the year end.

Rolling forward

  1. Open the client

    On the client's Overview, the newest set of accounts has "Start next year".

  2. Start it

    Press "Start next year".

  3. Bring in the figures

    Press "Import this year's trial balance". The mapping from last year is used, so only new accounts need a heading.
